Business Development Manager

Responsibilities
Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Representing LJA at events (social, corporate, marketing, business development)
Branding materials (clothing, etc), brand ambassador
Monitors marketing patterns: what is/isn’t working, wins, promotions
Build social media presence and networking
Maintain updated information on resumes, portfolios, hires, employee highlights, and LinkedIn
Qualification
Required
BA or BS degree in business administration, sales or relevant field
10 – 15 years proven track record in business development and marketing
Have creative experience (InDesign, Photoshop, Office, etc)
Attention to detail / consistent, ability to multi-task
Social media experience, video and photography skills
Editing and writing experience, strong communication
In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
