Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist

The Children’s Behavioral and Mental Health Center is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide evidence-based interventions in individual, group, and family therapy within a clinical setting for children and adolescents.

Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based interventions in the form of individual, group, and/or family therapy
Work closely with child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, behavioral and mental health therapists, and nurse case managers to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan for each patient
Participate in the training of psychology doctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows as well other behavioral mental health trainees
Engage in program development across acute clinical care settings
Qualification
Required
PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA accredited program
Completed an APA accredited child internship
Expertise in treating children and adolescents using evidence-based treatment approaches
Licensed or licensed-eligible in Georgia prior to employment
Must obtain board certification within hospital timelines
Preferred
Expertise in adolescent family therapy
Expertise in parent-child relationships
Experience treating disruptive behavior
Experience treating functional conditions
Experience treating psychosis
Experience treating acute mood disorders
Experience treating anxiety/depression/disruptive behavior that is comorbid with autism
