Responsibilities

Evaluate, inspect, diagnose and document internal and external composite blade damage, then photograph and assemble documentation as required
Perform coating and structural repairs of internal and external composite blade structures, such as wind turbine blades and nacelles
Modify and repair fiberglass, carbon fiber, resin and other composite materials as needed
Work with site leadership to execute all contractual obligations and activities set forth with the customers daily, which can include composite repairs with respect to wind turbines
Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures
Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment

Required

Minimum 2 year of experience working with composite materials in any industry
Familiar with internal and external adhesive bonding
Understanding of mixed ratios for all composite repair chemicals
Basic knowledge of repairing leading edge (LE) and trailing edge (TE) cracks
WDI/TWP/Work instruction
Work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine blade
Read and understand electrical schematic drawings
Ability and willingness to climb a wind turbine vertically at least 300 feet
Maintain a weight between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots, for OSHA safety compliance
Lift and move equipment as needed (more than 50 pounds)
Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses
