The Composite Blade Technician II will specialize in conducting inspection and corrective repair of composite Wind Turbine Generator components, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, inspect, diagnose and document internal and external composite blade damage, then photograph and assemble documentation as required

Perform coating and structural repairs of internal and external composite blade structures, such as wind turbine blades and nacelles

Modify and repair fiberglass, carbon fiber, resin and other composite materials as needed

Work with site leadership to execute all contractual obligations and activities set forth with the customers daily, which can include composite repairs with respect to wind turbines

Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures

Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment
