Develop tools to support trading functionality initiatives
Create simulator applications as needed for application deliverables
Collaborate with architecture teams to implement changes and develop Java libraries
Build generic application containers to abstract complexities from functional development initiatives
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience with core Java technologies
Expertise in designing APIs, distributed systems, asynchronous workers, and resilient messaging services
Knowledge of FIX protocol
Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-based deployments
Proven experience in ultra-low latency design patterns
Experience collaborating with business partners on critical initiatives
Experience demonstrating engineering excellence through CI/CD practices
Experience staying current with IT frameworks and technologies and guiding junior team members
Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
Experience contributing innovative ideas to improve productivity
