Responsibilities
Select, maintain and manage best in class CAD/EDA tools for mixed signal IC design, PCB design
License and library/PDK management for a growing team of high performing design and layout engineers
Document and update design flow / process for all CAD activities, support ISO and other industry / customer audits
Organize training for immediate and extended teams as required to enhance the groups capabilities and efficiency over time
Take on hands-on tasks on CAD whenever bandwidth allows
Qualification
Required
BS/MS in computer science, engineering or related discipline
10+ years CAD Management experience
Proven track record managing EDA licensing, PDKs and network infrastructure
Proven track record working with external semiconductor fabs, direct and recent experience with TSMC, Global foundries or Samsung fabs would be a distinct advantage
Simulator experience a plus
Excellent communication skills in verbal and written form
Strong resource and project management, organizational skills
