Responsibilities

Conduct end-to-end MTM studies across all vehicle assembly operations, from sub-assembly to final assembly
Establish, validate, and maintain standardized work and cycle times to support production planning and operational stability
Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure accurate and actionable time standards
Support line balancing, staffing models, and capacity planning for current and future production volumes
Identify and lead productivity, method, and process improvement opportunities while maintaining quality and safety requirements
Serve as a subject matter expert in ergonomics, ensuring compliance with ergonomic standards and risk-reduction initiatives
Create clear documentation and ensure cross-functional alignment on MTM assumptions, standards, and results
Provide expert input during new product launches, line modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
5+ years of experience conducting MTM analyses in high-volume manufacturing (automotive assembly)
Deep understanding of standardized work, cycle time validation, line balancing, and capacity planning
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional technical and production teams
Proven ability to translate MTM data into practical, productivity-driven improvements
Solid knowledge of ergonomic assessment methods and compliance standards
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Experience supporting new vehicle launches or major model changes
Familiarity with OEM Manufacturing Production Systems
