Responsibilities
Develops fire system designs, including fire sprinkler layout, pipe routing, hanger placement, hydraulic calculations, and other fire system design related tasks
Performs the production of supporting documents, files, and services for fire system designs
Assists in the selection of appropriate equipment and methods for incorporation into system design
Analyzes building plans, project specifications, building type to identify design requirements
Confirms the design criteria (hazard) required for the design
Performs the hydraulic analysis and or technical calculations needed to complete design
Participates in production tracking program as directed and administered by management
Utilizes the best practices and requirements to optimize fabrication data
Leads and teaches the adoption of cutting-edge software platforms and tools
Qualification
Preferred
Engineering design experience & certification preferred
5 years of Fire Sprinkler design experience preferred
NICET Certification Preferred
