Sr Manager. Stock Plan Services- Financial Reporting

They are seeking a Senior Manager for Stock Plan Services who will provide financial reporting support to corporate clients, focusing on equity compensation accounting and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
Provide proactive financial reporting support to corporate clients and make recommendations when appropriate to address reporting challenges
Lead discovery and consultation conversations with corporate clients to determine their needs
Subject matter expert in domestic and international share-based payment concepts
Understand overall stock plan record-keeping system architecture and functionality
Understand the Schwab EquiView financial reporting system from settings configuration to expense and disclosure reporting calculations
Monitor regulatory changes, drive thought leadership efforts and provide sales support
Identify development opportunities, gather business requirements, and work with Product Management to implement new financial reporting features
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years work experience in the financial services industry with minimum 3 years experience working in the equity compensation industry and at least 2 years working with ASC 718/IFRS2
Ability to balance the needs of our clients and implement SPS best practices
Strong communication skills with an ability to build positive working relationships with both our clients and internal partners
Must be self-directed and self-motivated-- able to work independently on a variety of tasks while achieving team-oriented objectives and collaborating with stakeholders where appropriate
Must be well organized and able to effectively manage own time
Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize competing deadlines
High attention to detail and the ability to see things through from concept to implementation
Strong business analysis and problem solving skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and ability to troubleshoot issues
Effectively work in a collaborative team environment and provide the best possible outcomes for our clients
Demonstrate excellent critical analysis with a very high attention to detail to improve existing processes and innovate solutions
Leverage strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain data and analysis in a compelling manner to all levels of leadership
Proficiency in Microsoft Office application such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
