As a Security Officer - Distribution Site - Flex, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business area and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns
Monitor access points and assist with visitor and employee entry in accordance with established protocols
Report any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required
Support site operations by documenting observations and completing required logs and reports during each shift
Qualification
Required
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client
Must be at least 21 years of age
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
X-ray screening experience is preferred
Access control or badge experience is preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
