Responsibilities
Lead the team and oversee the asset quality, business developments, credit monitoring, and customer service to achieve the management business objectives
Generate revenue for the commercial banking group by developing business opportunities while maintaining and expanding (existing & new) customer relationships
Work with the team within CTBC global network to research and identify viable prospects in order achieve the assigned financial and strategic goals in the team
Supervise the team to perform credit underwriting, credit monitoring of loans and portfolio management of existing relationships
Coach and train the RMs and ARMs in the team
Manage and develop the financial performance of product portfolio to achieve business objective, including loans (FI & Fund Finance) and deposits
Develop FI relationships and business development based the current market and industrial demands
Negotiate, develop and manage large and major loan accounts. Make independent business developments calls or joint calls with other marketing teams, as needed
Work with assistant relationship managers to complete credit underwriting and monitoring of loans
Work with global RMs within CTBC’s global network to develop business opportunities and serve the customers
Participate in the industry associations and networking activities
Remain updated with current market conditions and product/service developments within local market of assigned region
Overall accountability for driving the profitability, quality and growth of portfolio
Management of the annual credit reviews, interim reviews, and credit monitoring of existing portfolio
Management of existing customer needs, transactions and issues
Work collaboratively with the credit team to identify and resolve the credit issues and covenant non-compliance
Supervise the team to complete the business and internal control goals on time
Work with the head of marketing on talent development, recruitment, and retention
Perform related duties, as required, for training, operation, and developments purposes
Perform all assigned duties under bank’s compliance programs and related laws & regulations
Complete assignment and duties designated by supervisor
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in banking industry
5+ years of experiences in FI business/Fund Finance
Experiences in leading a team and cooperate with colleagues
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related major required
Strong passion for helping the clients identifying financing solutions and is comfortable to engage with clients
Flexible to work extended hours when required
Bilingual in both Mandarin and English is required
Preferred
master's degree preferred
