Scrum Master / Business Analyst
Diaconia is looking for a talented Scrum Master / Business Analyst to join their Amazing team. The role involves facilitating Scrum practices, guiding teams in Agile methodologies, and partnering with stakeholders to document business processes and requirements.

Responsibilities
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives)
Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values
Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the blocker
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving
Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work
Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
Support and educate the Product Owner, especially on refinement and maintaining the product backlog
Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example
Partner with business stakeholders to understand, confirm and document business processes /requirements in user stories with acceptance criteria
Partner with technical leads to decompose epic/feature-level backlog items into user stories with acceptance criteria
Qualification
Required
Active Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance. MBI Letter preferred
Proven 5+ years' experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment, specifically with legacy modernization projects involving Java, Oracle and/or APIs
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
Preferred
MBI Letter preferred
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) is strongly preferred
Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is strongly preferred
