The role involves performing physical testing, managing calibrations, and assisting with lab operations while ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities
Perform physical testing on product samples per procedures and specifications
Assist with test setup, execution, and data collection for validation projects
Operate lab equipment (Instron, environmental chambers, impact/measurement tools, etc.)
Conduct and track calibration of lab equipment and maintain calibration records
Prepare test reports, organize data, and maintain documentation for audits and projects
Read and interpret test specifications, drawings, and work instructions
Assist with troubleshooting, sample prep, fixture setup, and general lab duties
Assist with management of external validation testing (Element Materials Technology, Espas, DuPont, etc.)
Support a clean, organized, and safe lab environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field OR equivalent experience
Ability to understand test specifications and follow procedures accurately
Comfortable working with hands-on testing and lab instrumentation
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to multitask and work independently when needed
