Energy Saver NC Field Technician and Quality Control Specialist

Growth Opportunities

Responsibilities

Regularly travel across North Carolina to conduct quality control inspections
Perform inspections and reporting on installed energy efficiency measures
Navigate and understand basic operating components of HVACR and other residential building systems
Ensure compliance with program specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards
Represent Everblue and its program partners with professionalism and courtesy
Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve and scale operations
Support program staff with administrative tasks and special projects as needed

Required

Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and procedure manuals
Comfortable working in field conditions, including attics, crawlspaces, and residential sites
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with the ability to prioritize workload
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with data entry and tracking systems/databases
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to identify process improvements and assist with developing standard operating procedures
Working knowledge of basic mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, and ratios
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license
Home or Commercial Performance certifications (BPI, RESNET, or similar)
BPI Energy Auditor Certification required

Preferred

BPI Quality Control Inspector Certification preferred
