After School Program Coordinator - Bluff Lake/Decatur

The After School Program Coordinator will assist with the operation, planning, and implementation of the after-school program, engaging with youth and parents to support programming and monitoring outcomes.

Responsibilities
Provide quality programs to Mercy residents in one or more settings. Adjust programs to ensure effectiveness
Work cooperatively with site staff to carry out Mercy’s mission, philosophy, on-site goals and perform outreach activities
Maintain program spaces in good condition; coordinates use of program space as necessary in accordance with state regulations
Work cooperatively with other service providers and community partners to ensure quality services and opportunities for residents
Collect data and monitor progress toward desired outcomes on an on-going basis for data collection and metrics, etc
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School or GED equivalent
Three (3) months of full-time or equivalent part-time satisfactory and verifiable experience with school-age children in such areas as Sunday school, scouts, sports, or baby-sitting
18 years of age or older
Preferred
Basic computer skills
