Inside Sales Account Rep

The Inside Sales Account Representative will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining client relationships, and identifying new prospects while providing exceptional customer service and support to the sales team.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage a portfolio of accounts through daily outreach via phone, email, and video conferencing
Initiate and execute cold calls and email outreach to generate leads and expand the customer base
Manage and nurture sales pipelines, keeping accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM
Utilize sales and CRM software tools effectively to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions
Partner with customer experience and sales to support ongoing business needs and growth of current accounts as defined by the sales manager
Conduct presentations (phone and/or teams calls) and effectively promote company products and services to both existing and prospective clients, with the aim of driving profitable growth and increasing gross profit
Act as a professional representative of the company during all customer interactions, fostering strong business partnerships and upholding the company's brand image
Communicate the value proposition of our products and services clearly and persuasively
Assist in the preparation of quotes, proposals, and sales materials using tools like PowerPoint and Excel
Establish, set up and maintain pricing for each customer
Serve as a liaison between customers and internal resources within Millcraft, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to meet client needs including quotes, sourcing intel, and information to the client and team to close the sale
Provide comprehensive support, guidance, and direction to the customer experience team regarding customer requirements, including order specifications, pricing, and quality standards
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels such as prospecting, lead generation, networking, and social media engagement
Maintain accurate records of customer information and sales related data, regularly updating business opportunities and providing timely reports as requested
Monitor customer account activity, including orders and receivables, to ensure efficient account management
Manage inventory, including hold stock, to optimize the company’s cash flow
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and product developments
Adapt sales strategies to changing market conditions and customer preferences
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas to drive revenue and growth
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and product knowledge
Assist in regional projects and all other duties as assigned
Follow all Millcraft policies, procedures, and guidelines as outlined in the employee handbook and departmental SOPs
Ensure a safe working environment by strictly following all safety protocols and standards including reporting unsafe conditions, near-misses and incidents immediately to your manager

Required

Excellent communication and negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy; Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Highly developed and well-established knowledge of sales cycle and client management techniques
Results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
3-5 years of experience in customer service, business development or inside sales is preferred in the graphic supply industry
Ability to travel occasionally to industry events, trade shows and customers as needed
