Senior Sales Manager

AKA Hotels + Hotel Residences is recruiting a seller to lead efforts for Hotel AKA Rittenhouse Square and AKA University City in the business travel and extended stay segments. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Philadelphia Metro Market and will be responsible for driving revenue, securing new accounts, and enhancing client engagement.

Responsibilities

Partner with Director of Sales to drive revenue through strategic account growth and share shift
Prospect and secure new accounts for AKA University City and Rittenhouse Square using CoStar and Agency360
Achieve weekly goals for calls and site visits with an emphasis on client engagement, both individuals and businesses
Ensure precise, timely CRM updates for all prospecting and account activities
Oversee RFP season via CVENT Lanyon and other platforms, ensuring timely, polished responses and negotiations
Represent AKA by identifying national account opportunities across the portfolio
Maintain expert knowledge of the Philadelphia hospitality market and foster referral partnerships
Collaborate with Sales and Operations to deliver seamless, elevated client and guest experiences
Represent AKA at trade shows and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
Leverage ZoomInfo and CoPilot to build prospecting lists and uncover new accounts
Prepare and present detailed reports on RFP pipeline, forecasts, and production trends for leadership review
Oversee rate loading and auditing for new and existing accounts in partnership with Revenue team
Lead insurance market strategy, managing key relationships for claims and individuals seeking immediate relief
Maximize extended-stay opportunities by cultivating connections within the local community and resident network

Required

Minimum 5 years in hospitality sales, 3 years actively selling Business Transient segment
Bachelor's degree from College or University
Must be extremely flexible and adaptable to daily frequent changes in a fast-paced environment
Proficient knowledge in variety of computer software applications and hospitality tools like SELL, CVENT Lanyon and Opera
Flexible schedule required based on client needs and time zones, to include evening networking events
Strong guest service, problem solving and decision-making skills
Must be energetic, self-motivating and a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management, organization skills with an emphasis on attention to detail in a high-paced environment
Must be able to interact with a diversified group of people both internally and externally

Preferred

Experience in Center City Philadelphia preferred
