Responsibilities

Performs independent quality assurance reviews covering documentation, training, and processes
Develops and maintains quality management system (QMS)
Supports the development, implementation, and review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to evaluate effectiveness of existing programs
Identifies and assesses quality assurance problems and confers with management for action. Makes recommendations through detailed status reports
Maintains appropriate logs or databases of various conditions on a regular basis
Performs general administrative duties (e.g., schedules audits, requests records and documentation) as needed
Communicates with various groups or staff to exchange information regarding compliance matters and address and/or escalate any issues to Associate Director
Reviews weekly/monthly work activity and provide data summary
Assists in development of training materials. Participates in developing and updating training and procedural documentation

Required

Bachelor's degree
3 years of experience
Experience participating in quality assurance activities and knowledge of related quality assurance processes and tools
General working knowledge and proficiency in producing documentation to comply with regulatory agency requirements and audit procedures
Ability to advise on project procedures and analysis techniques
Excellent written and oral communication skills, and an exemplary attention to detail
Proven ability to interpret, analyze, and apply pertinent policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, deftly handle time-sensitive matters, and meet strict deadlines
Demonstrated experience with various computer software programs, electronic quality management systems, and office management software/tools (e.g. Google suite, Slack)

Preferred

Has MA or is MA eligible in social work or related field (psychology, gerontology, or public health) preferred 2 years of experience as a team leader or supervisor
Proven ability to interpret, analyze, and apply pertinent policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements
Experience participating in quality assurance activities and knowledge of related quality assurance processes and tools
Ability to advise on project procedures and analysis techniques
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, handle time-sensitive matters, and meet strict deadlines
Demonstrated experience with various computer software programs, electronic quality management systems, and office management software/tools (e.g. Google suite, Slack)
Bi-lingual language preferred (written & verbal)
General working knowledge and proficiency in producing documentation to comply with regulatory agency requirements and audit procedures
Has strong communication and analytical skills
Understands the importance of all responsibilities to include administrative and timeliness of case documentation
