Systems and Network Security Engineer
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems and Network Security Engineer to support their U.S. Navy client in safeguarding information management systems. The role involves identifying risk management framework policies, assessing vulnerabilities, and developing security solutions to protect critical data and maintain a positive system security posture.

Responsibilities
Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management
Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, including enhanced detection and vulnerability capabilities and improved event correlation in large enterprises
Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas
Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Information Technology
3+ years of experience working with the RMF ATO process
Knowledge of NIST 800-53 Rev 4 or 5, and security controls
Knowledge of systems threat and vulnerability management with tools such as Tenable
Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments utilizing scanning tools
Ability to assist in writing IA policies and procedures, and research and interpret government regulations and standards
Ability to provide guidance assistance to all levels of A&A technical and non-technical personnel
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
CompTIA Security+ CE and CASP+ Certifications
Preferred
Experience with policy, documentation, and workflow tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Jira
Knowledge of the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), the U.S. Department of Defense's (DoD) web-based platform for managing cybersecurity, streamlining RMF for system authorization, tracking security controls, and generating essential compliance documentation for DoD systems
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
