The Garrett Companies is a full-service multifamily development, construction, and property management team. The Landscape Architect Intern will assist the in-house Landscape Architecture team on various projects, focusing on multifamily development, including schematic design, design development, and construction administration.

Responsibilities

Research topics and summarize findings as they relate to specific project needs

Help with the production of graphic presentations, renderings, and construction drawings suitable for bidding and regulatory approvals and permits

Research local zoning codes to help ensure designs are complete and fully prepared for permit / plan reviews

Help prepare landscape and site feature design presentations

Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, fabricators, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives

Assist our in-house Landscape Architecture team with specific tasks related to the development process and construction handoff

Required

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Indesign and Acrobat), WORD and EXCEL

Ability to work independently and with a team of professionals as needed

Ability to take direction and a willingness to learn

Rising junior or Master's student pursuing a Landscape Architecture degree from an accredited university
