Responsibilities

End-to-End Payroll Management: Execute the full weekly payroll cycle for roughly 30 employees using Construction Manager software. You will be the sole owner of this process, ensuring 100% accuracy and punctuality

Compliance & Tax Oversight: Manage all payroll tax filings and the precise calculation of union dues. You will ensure we remain in full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Project-Based Expertise: Apply your knowledge of labor allocations and project-based payroll nuances to support accurate job costing

Full-Cycle A/P Management: Take charge of the accounts payable inbox, processing 30-50 invoices weekly. This includes coding, verifying approvals, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely disbursements

A/R & Cash Flow Support: Assist with accounts receivable functions to maintain healthy liquid capital

Professional Collections: Conduct month-end outreach to clients regarding outstanding balances. We value a "friendly but firm" approach that secures payment while protecting our long-standing industry reputation

Required

Bachelor's degree

3 Years experience in a Senior Accountant or Bookkeeping role where payroll processing was a core daily function
