Responsibilities

Building entire systems or their features and interfaces that are highly available, intuitive, scalable, and secure to meet current and future software and application requirements
Conducting design and code reviews to ensure highly reliable and performant code maintains scalability, performance, and alignment with standards and best practices
Designing, developing, coding, and testing programs, applications, and technical solutions following lifecycle software development (SDLC)
Following change and release management policies to ensure data integrity, compliance, and system stability
Identifying and managing risks that stem from business activities and the job role
Advocating, recommending, & championing process improvements
Participating in team and system demonstrations to accept completed stories and features
Working with product managers to create software that is optimized for business metrics

Required

A degree in Information Systems, Computer science, or equivalent work experience
Experience in Agile/Scrum Methodology
Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementations
Experience with Microsoft products (MS Visual Studio, Visio, .NET Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, PowerApps, Office 365 Suite, Visual Basic, Access DB)
Demonstrated experience executing the SDLC against large systems implementations
Demonstrated experience in solution development and application architecture with JEE(J2EE) or .Net
Experience performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques
Ability to apply application design and coding standards
Ability to reason logically, analyze, and resolve business problems
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with co-workers
Ability to communicate information concisely and accurately, both oral and written
Ability to communicate issues and suggest alternative, innovative, and creative solutions for technical problems
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to develop a strong customer service work ethic
Ability to manage time independently and remain self-motivated
Ability to pay close attention to detail in all aspects of work
Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and shifting priorities
Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactive problem-solving skills

Preferred

Experience with leadership and project management
Knowledge of system software, hardware, work processes, regulations and management practices
Knowledge of data analytics concepts used to identify trends and deliver cost savings
Knowledge of business performance metrics and how they translate to value
Knowledge of standard development processes, procedures, systems, and architectures
Knowledge of programming languages and platforms including but not limited to C#, .NET, C, C++, Python, Java, and SQL
Knowledge of use of agile methodologies to support all aspects of product development
Knowledge of data management, including organization, storage, and retrieval systems
Knowledge of data standardization, standardization, cleansing, and integration techniques
Knowledge of user interface and user experience (UI/UX) design
