The Academic Advisor will provide educational and career guidance to students, encourage high school and college completion, and collaborate with school personnel and parents.

Required

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree
2 years of work experience in education, social or behavioral sciences, counseling, student personnel, or related field
Knowledge and experience working with disadvantaged students
Commitment to the philosophy and goals of the program
Excellent communication skills
Ability to relate to diverse groups of program stakeholders
Occasional evening and/or weekend work
