The intern will assist the Personal and Ag Underwriting team by reviewing current policies, preparing underwriting reports, and participating in various projects within the department.

Responsibilities
Assist the Personal and Ag Underwriting team by reviewing current policies and preparing underwriting reports
Complete policy tasks and projects as needed
Participate in learning experiences across the organization to understand the culture and various departments
Qualification
Required
Be a current college student
A quick learner who is looking to learn new concepts and ideas, and able to learn basic understanding of property insurance policies
Strong computer skills are required to quickly learn our multiple systems
Effective communicator, excellent customer service skills, and team focused
Must be detail oriented and willing to ask questions
Be available to work full time (8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday) during the summer of 2026 from our office in Manhattan, Kansas
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis
Preferred
Agricultural, business or insurance major preferred
Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred
