Manufacturing Engineering Intern- MPC

Phillips & Temro Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to support the launch of new manufacturing processes and tooling. The intern will be involved in various activities including process documentation, tooling assembly, and migration of documentation to electronic platforms.

Responsibilities

Support launch of new manufacturing processes and tooling
Process Documentation: Work Instructions, preventative maintenance records, etc
Tooling assembly / rebuilds
Routing updates
Time studies for costed routings and project cost justifications
Migration of paper documentation to electronic platform (Work instructions, PFMEA)
Other manufacturing engineering support tasks as directed

Required

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
Familiarity with CAD (preferably SolidWorks) - Entry level (2D prints and 3D modeling- GD & T knowledge a +)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong mechanical, pneumatic and/or electrical aptitude
Familiarity with hand and shop tools and their use
Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college / technical program
Majors: Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
GPA of 3.0 or higher

Preferred

Previous molding experience preferred, not required
