Responsibilities
Develop, drive, and deliver scalable test automation solutions
Plan, design, write, maintain and perform end-end test cases through automation using Swift and Python
Drive all aspects of quality and process improvements to ensure features are ready for release
Report bugs with outstanding isolation and regression techniques
Balance a wide variety of deliverables relying on talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively
Dive deep into solving complex problems and work closely with partners in various disciplines across the company
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in Automation
Strong Swift/SwiftUI or Objective-C development in test skills
Proficient in one or more scripting languages, such as Python
Comfortable with Unix commands and experience writing shell scripts
A strong understanding of unit, integration, and regression test methodologies
Experience working with Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch etc.)
Diligent with a proactive approach to potential challenges
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating across many participating teams
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Preferred
Experience with macOS/iOS development in test
Experience using Apple's automation framework: XCTest, XCUI
Passionate about learning new skills and technologies quickly and independently
Proficient in resolving complex failures using advanced debugging techniques
Motivated by solving complex challenges
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Self-starter with leadership capabilities
Familiarity with quality engineering environments and test data pipelines
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction and design decisions from a quality perspective
