Responsibilities

Assists with inhalation laboratory activities including in vivo and in vitro inhalation
Assists with experiments involving aerosol generation and characterization
Conducts chemical experiments, with direction, and generates chemical analysis data. Performs structured work assignments
Conducts research of organic or inorganic substances
Analyzes and tests new or existing materials to identify their properties and characteristics for the development or improvement of new or existing products
Studies the relationship between chemical and physical properties
Completes technical evaluations and/or assessments of chemicals, chemical reactions, or chemical properties

Required

Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
Have at least two years of college coursework completed by the start of the internship
Ability to lift 20 lbs
Ability and willingness to wear a respirator and work with hazardous chemicals
Applicant must be US citizen

Experience working in a lab environment
