Materials Planner

Responsibilities

Convert MRP demand signals into purchase orders, schedule agreements and work orders
Analyze lead times, safety stock and lot sizing to optimize inventory investment
Monitor supplier OTD and expedite or reschedule as needed to meet production changes
Collaborate with Engineering and Quality on part revisions and obsolescence management
Review inventory discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with Warehouse
Provide data and recommendations to management on supply risks and mitigation plans

Required

Minimum 4 years in a Planning / Procurement role
Experience with SAP, ERP/MRP planning modules, and Excel analytics
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Prior experience managing vendors and maintaining supplier relationships
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred

7+ years experience in Procurement or Planner role
Experience working in an Aerospace/ Aviation related industry
Excellent communication and supplier‑relationship skills
Strong understanding of BOM structures, demand planning and procurement processes
