Responsibilities
Provide customer service to residents and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior
Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or hazards within the residential location to the appropriate personnel
Assist residents and guests with inquiries and directions as needed, promoting a welcoming environment
Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident logs as required by Allied Universal and site management
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during incidents when necessary
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
