Boardwalk Pipelines is a limited partnership operating in the midstream portion of the natural gas and natural gas liquids industry. They are currently looking for an Associate Field Technician/ Field Technician/ Sr. Field Technician to carry out daily operations and maintenance tasks associated with pipeline compliance and maintenance, ensuring environmental, health, and safety reliability for natural gas transmission.

Responsibilities

Carry out daily operations & maintenance tasks associated with pipeline, compressor station compliance and maintenance
Responsible for environmental, health & safety and reliability for natural gas transmission through the pipeline system
Compressor maintenance
Reading rectifiers
Valve inspection and maintenance
Tank gauging
Pipeline locating
Pipeline patrolling
One-calls
Preventive pipeline maintenance
Valve site and right of way maintenance
Assisting with construction and repairs of pipelines and associated facilities if needed

Qualification

Required

Must live within 30 miles of facility
Clear communicator
Self-motivator
Ability to work unsupervised

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred

5 years' experience in natural gas industry
Technical degree instrumentation/electrical
Technical College or Trade School
