Required

PhD in area of project specialization

Knowledge of modern research practices, the methods, resources, and standards thereof

Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities

Ability to integrate resources, policies, and information for the determination of procedures, solutions and other outcomes

Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with other employees and the public

Ability to plan and allocate the workload of employees, providing direct training and supervision as needed

Preferred

A Ph.D. in Computer Science related or Learning Sciences. For the former, those specializing in areas such as logic-based AI, databases, logic, programming languages, or software engineering are welcome. For the latter, experience with rigorous application to computer science and AI education is a plus

Significant modeling experience or an evident passion for modeling

A deep curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring the foundations of AI, Computer Science, and STEM, particularly through the lens of logic in the context of education, and understanding human learning of STEM
