SeeKing HR is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to design and layout power plant sites, microgrids, and power distribution systems. The role involves computer modeling, compliance with codes, report preparation, and managing project budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

Design and layout of power plant sites, microgrids, and power distribution systems, including medium and low voltage systems, switchgear, and motor control centers
Computer modeling and analysis of electrical systems
Design of lighting systems, grounding, and lightning protection systems
Designing schematic and wiring diagrams
Preparing equipment and system specifications
Ensuring compliance with relevant codes
Report preparation
Performing design computations
Reviewing technical work within the discipline
Coordinating technical efforts
Managing project budgets and schedules
Ensuring the timely development of engineering drawings and specifications
Performing and checking engineering calculations
Sizing and selecting electrical equipment
Coordinating with vendors for necessary information and equipment
Performing project field site visits
Performing other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned

Qualification

Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE)ETAPSKMElectrical design experienceCommunication skillsSelf-motivatedAdaptability

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) Registration, or ability to obtain in 1 year
10+ Years experience of relevant electrical design experience
Proficiency with ETAP, SKM, or similar electrical modeling software
Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project and industry needs

Preferred

Design experience with military bases, central plants, and campus infrastructure
