Responsibilities

Responsible for operation of screw machines; including, loading bar stock, filling fluids, and removing chips from machine
Responsible for performing setup on screw machines; including, tooling changes, tool sharpening, and tool adjustments to ensure continued conformance to specifications
Responsible for conformance with quality specifications
Ability to assist other operators in performing tool changes, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
Ability to assist in training others on operation and setup of screw machines

Required

Relevant work experience; maintenance, mechanic, automotive mechanic, or trade school completion
Perform standard math – add, subtract, multiply, and divide

Preferred

Mechanically inclined – Individual needs to be good with tools and machinery and can adapt quickly to fixing things both familiar and unfamiliar
Perform standard math – Individual needs to be able to perform standard math to effectively make machine adjustments
Reasoning ability – Ability to think, reflect, and make decisions to overcome obstacles
