Furnace Operator - Night Shift
Howmet Aerospace Inc. is a leading global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. They are seeking a Furnace Operator responsible for operating the furnace, maintaining work area cleanliness, and ensuring product quality meets customer specifications.

Responsibilities
Operate furnaces with minimal supervision
Interpret and control furnace conditions to ensure the product is consistent with customer specifications and meets all quality standards
Record production data and maintain accurate production logs
Lifting, carrying, and push-pulling material in the furnace
Inspect furnaces and equipment to locate wear and defects
Maintain temperature logs
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Highschool diploma or GED
A minimum of 3 years' experience of machine operation in a production environment
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred
A minimum of one year of Foundry experience in a production environment
Must be able to obtain an in-house mobile equipment certification, including use of forklift and boom lift
Experience with conducting general maintenance on equipment or experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blueprints
Experience using a computer to enter and track data
Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include holidays, weekends, and overtime
Physical Demands: The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs
