Responsibilities
Provide employees with education on safety standards, expectations, and the proper operation of equipment through both online and in-person training sessions
Consult with the leadership team regarding safety compliance issues and recommend necessary preventative actions
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing established standards and procedures
Adhere to all protocols for reporting accidents and injuries, including submitting reports into the Incident Management System
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field required
Five to ten year's operations management within retail or distribution with multiple location responsibility
Experience starting up and managing new locations
Must have prior P&L or Cost Center Control responsibility
Must be proficient in Microsoft office, including Excel
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Experience in an analytical and project support role preferably with a multinational or global company
Strong analytical and research skills to evaluate complex operations data, distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using quantitative methodologies
Systems acumen (SAP, Minitab, Excel, Access, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to execute strategies for improvement and day-to-day support of efficient operations
Ability to convert analysis into insights
Understanding of problem solving and knowledge of root cause analysis tools
Exceptional time management, organization and prioritization skills
Superior customer service and adaptability to changing requirements
Ability to work effectively in self-directed manner
