Sunrise Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead EDI Specialist/Tester to support Medicaid Reform / Managed Care Transition projects. The role focuses on HIPAA X12 EDI mapping, testing, QA, and trading partner coordination for healthcare systems.

Responsibilities

Lead EDI QA, testing, and X12 transmission validation
Expert EDI mapping for 837, 277CA, 834, 835, TA1, 999, 820, NCPDP D.0
Develop and execute EDI test scripts and full-cycle testing
Monitor and troubleshoot inbound/outbound X12 transactions
Manage trading partner setup, standards, and issue resolution
Maintain EDI documentation, reports, and process flows
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and healthcare providers

Qualification

X12 EDI testingHIPAA X12 EDI mappingHealthcare claims knowledgeMedicaid/MMIS experienceAgile methodologyCommunication skills

Required

7+ years X12 EDI testing & scripting experience
5+ years HIPAA X12 EDI mapping and QA experience
Strong healthcare claims knowledge (Claims, Eligibility, Providers)
Knowledge of Agile methodology
Excellent communication skills; able to work independently

Preferred

Experience with Medicaid/MMIS
