Responsibilities
Proactively source new origination opportunities through a network of real estate agents, builders, and past client referrals
Resolve issues relating to the loan file and communicate/coordinate solutions effectively to borrower and Volo Loans team members
Meet, or exceed, established sales goals while maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction and loan quality
Analyze applicant financial status, credit, property evaluations, and residential history to determine feasibility of loan options
Educate borrowers on various loan products and structure deals that align with their long-term financial goals
Take thorough and accurate initial loan applications and ensure all required documentation is collected upfront
Quote and disclose accurate fees pertaining to the origination of the loan transaction
Work closely with team members to move loans through the pipeline efficiently, ensuring all underwriting conditions are met
Maintain strict adherence to all federal and state regulations
Perform any other reasonable duties required by Volo Loans management team
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential mortgage lending or a similar sales-driven financial role
Strong understanding of current interest rate trends, secondary market pricing, and agency guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts
Excellent customer service skills to manage internal and external relationships
Preferred
Active NMLS License is a plus, but not required
Experience navigating Loan Origination Systems (LOS) like Encompass, Byte, or Calyx Point
