They are seeking an experienced IT Enterprise Architecture Modeler to create and maintain a model-based IT enterprise architecture, collaborating closely with IT Enterprise Architects and stakeholders to inform key leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a model-based IT enterprise architecture

Work closely with IT Enterprise Architects to determine model views and gather needed data

Work with partners that are not familiar with modeling and help them translate their IT architecture into a model

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Required

Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph

B.S. degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (M.S. preferred) and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. Four years of additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree

Proficient in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering, with proven experience translating concepts into SysML or UML

Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF)

Excellent communication skills for technical writing, oral briefings, and executive-level products

Ability to consider IT architecture issues from many different perspectives

Passion for staying up to date with industry trends and advancements
