Food and Beverage
Responsibilities
Process and code vendor invoices; match to purchase orders and receipts
Prepare and process ACH, electronic payments, check runs, and credit card transactions
Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve billing and payment issues
Assist with general ledger and bank reconciliations
Process remote deposit check scanning and customer ACH auto-debits
Manage cash sweeps, , and bank-related issues (NSFs, ACH returns)
Lead customer billing for home delivery, wholesale, and distributors
Apply customer payments including ACH, checks, credit cards, and EDI payments
Monitor accounts receivable, analyze outstanding balances, and support the collections process
Prepare and post journal entries
Support month-end close, audits, and financial reporting
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting policies
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
Collaborate with and support members of the accounting team
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
Experience with AS400 or similar accounting systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Efficient, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities
Clear and professional communicator
Ability to work independently and support team initiatives
Quick learner with a continuous improvement mindset
