Responsibilities

Leads the renewal process, adhering to the established renewal workflow and timelines

Recommends changes to the renewal process that will result in greater internal efficiency and excellent customer service

Coordinates and communicates with internal partners throughout the marketing process to ensure consistently high levels of client service

Meets with insured prior to renewal to obtain current information and identify exposures

Determines appropriate markets, carriers, and coverages to quote for client needs

Sends completed applications to carriers. Answers all carrier requests and questions until quotes are received

Completes analysis of quotes and coverages to determine options for proposal

Meets with insured to present proposal. Provides guidance in coverage selections

Binds coverage as authorized by the client

Creates executive summary of renewal to share with internal partners

Updates Agency Management System with all submission notes and results

Quotes new lines of coverage mid-term as needed

Performs other specific duties and projects assigned by the Chief Operations Officer

Required

P&C License

Ability to understand and analyze commercial Lines coverage, markets, forms, and policies

Above average mathematical skills

Strong attention to details and accuracy

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Working knowledge of computers and MS Office products

Preferred

College degree

At least 5 years of related experience

Working knowledge of Sagitta agency management system
