Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Administrative Director of Emergency Services for a high-acuity, multi-site emergency services leadership role in Houston, Texas. This role provides executive-level leadership across quality, service, people, growth, and financial domains while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant emergency care delivery.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Provide executive oversight of emergency services across multiple sites and functional areas
Lead the development and execution of evidence-based practices to improve patient safety, quality outcomes, and care efficiency
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and legal standards
Drive patient throughput strategies including capacity planning, volume forecasting, and patient flow coordination
Direct nursing practice and operational standards to meet patient and family needs
Lead patient experience initiatives and performance improvement strategies
Build, develop, and retain high-performing leadership and frontline teams
Collaborate with physicians and administrative leadership to support service line growth and expansion
Oversee budgeting, labor management, productivity, and cost containment initiatives

Required

Bachelor's Degree required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas or valid compact license
Minimum of 3+ years of RECENT acute care Emergency Department leadership experience required
Candidates with strong ED Manager experience may be considered based on size of department and reporting structure

Preferred

Master's Degree preferred
