Credit Specialist

Responsibilities
Identify and monitor accounts for past due invoices and communicate issues to customers
Follow up with accounts on an ongoing basis as needed
Decide when certain accounts or orders need to be held if accounts become severely past due or unresponsive to inquiries
Release orders for accounts that may exceed their current credit limit
Collaborate with sales representatives and account support coworkers to resolve invoice disputes
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent customer service skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
6 months to 1 year of experience in a professional or corporate setting
Quick learner with a positive attitude
Strong communication skills
Preferred
Detail-oriented
Self-starter with resilience when dealing with the sales team to release orders
