Responsibilities

Support established and emerging Missile Defense programs as a Guidance, Navigation & Controls (GNC) Engineer (Level II)
Make technical decisions and work with colleagues and leadership to deliver results
Demonstrated experience with GNC and Flight Software modeling, architectures and deployment in missile applications is highly desired

Required

Broad technical skills including rigid body dynamics, control theory and computer programming
Experience with software, simulation and programming tools (ex. Matlab/Simulink, Fortran, C++, Python etc.)
Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams by leveraging excellent verbal and written communication skills
To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen
Although not required to start, the selected applicant must be eligible to obtain, and maintain, a government issued Secret clearance for long term employment on this program
Successful applicants will generally possess at least 1+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline

Preferred

Experience with GN&C control theory and physical modeling related to spacecraft and/or missile systems
Ability to coordinate integration activities across a team that performs missile GN&C design and analysis tasks
Demonstrated experience with missile simulation and tool development, maintenance and use for performance analysis. Strong understanding of modeling principles
Experience in weapon system and/or sensor modeling
Experience evaluating system performance in complex scenarios and environments and verify system and subsystem level requirements
Minimum 1 year previous professional experience and/or Master's Degree in a related field
