Responsibilities

Help solve one problem after another

Manage physical and virtualized servers

Using Active Directory Domain Services, Domain Name Service (DNS), Group Policy Management, and File Servers

Ensure the current desktop, server, and network infrastructure is secure, functional, and available

Address errors, warnings, and peculiar activity using tools like event viewer or other Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM)

Provide customer insight and improve the infrastructure

Monitor system performance

Using the latest technologies available

Updating and patching critical systems

Providing configuration management

Share your expertise to help the team through challenges to modernize the network

Qualification

Windows Server administrationNetwork operationsActive DirectoryPowerShell scriptingInformation Assurance Technician Level IIVMWare managementCisco CertificationTroubleshooting skillsCybersecurity knowledge

Required

7+ years of experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019, or 2022 administration in enterprise IT environments

2+ years of experience in network operations, including installing and maintaining network devices

Knowledge of Active Directory TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Group Policy Management

Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for administration, automation, and reporting

Knowledge of fiber optics and copper cable management

Ability to troubleshoot and monitor network and system performance, availability, and security using native tools such as Event Viewer, Performance Monitor, and Task Scheduler

Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

HS diploma or GED

Information Assurance Technician Level II, Microsoft or Linux Computing Environment certification
