Handle appeals from inception through resolution, including briefing and oral argument
Analyze trial records and legal issues to assess appeal viability
Draft persuasive appellate briefs, motions, writs, and related pleadings
Argue cases before appellate courts and provide strategic input on appellate strategy
Consult with trial teams to preserve appellate issues and ensure proper record development
Qualification
Required
Recent experience as an Appellate Attorney
Recent experience in litigation and/or insurance defense
Preferred
Experience handling appeals in state and/or federal courts
Strong background in legal writing
Oral argument experience
Strategic case evaluation skills
