Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the mission critical systems that enable Serif Healths’ products meet the needs of the company
Help establish, implement and maintain monitors that keep us informed of platform operations
Design tools that empower the operations team to efficiently react to changes in data gathering, processing, and delivery requirements
Build out new reporting capabilities atop of our price transparency dataset
Maintain awareness of current industry developments and best practices

Required

At least 5 years of commercial experience as a Software Engineer
Fluent in Golang
Familiar with Python and NodeJS
Experience working with cloud based infrastructure (AWS preferred)
Experience working with containers and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
High attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and professionalism
Ability to work independently, move quickly, and self-manage for high-impact in a small team environment

Preferred

Experience with healthcare data: medical claims, prescription drugs, life sciences, procedures pricing or billing
Prior work in a startup or high-growth software company environment
Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with large data sets
Experience supporting highly available applications under strict SLA requirements
