Data Management & Analytics Specialist

ClearpointCo is looking for a Data Management & Analytics Specialist for a short term contract. This position will support the development team’s data management, analytics, and reporting functions, ensuring the continuity and integrity of Client Development’s data and workflows.

Responsibilities

A high degree of contact within the Client Development department
A moderate degree of contact with the Information Technology team
Maintain and enhance data quality and integrity across core systems by monitoring data flows, validating data accuracy, and addressing data hygiene issues
Support data intake, cleaning, and integration processes, ensuring consistency and alignment across internal systems and databases
Recommend and document process improvements to strengthen data management practices, reduce duplication, and improve data usability
Document and maintain data dictionaries, flow maps, and process documentation to ensure continuity and transparency during system or personnel transitions
Run recurring and ad hoc analytics and reporting requests in Excel, Python, and Alteryx, ensuring timely delivery of accurate insights to stakeholders
Collaborate with Marketing Operations and Business Development teams to ensure reliable data pipelines and reporting functionality in the firm’s CRM and analytics systems
Assist in synthesizing and presenting key metrics and findings to leadership in a clear and actionable format
Support ongoing analytics and research initiatives, including monitoring competitive intelligence and business trends that may impact clients
Strong foundation in data management and quality assurance, including data cleansing, reconciliation, and documentation
Ability to translate business questions into structured data and analytics tasks
Detail-oriented and process-focused, with strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary

Required

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (will be tested)
2+ years of professional experience with Python (will be tested)
2+ years of professional experience with ETL processes
General understanding of/experience with SQL and APIs
Working proficiency in Excel, Python, and Alteryx for data analysis and reporting
Strong foundation in data management and quality assurance, including data cleansing, reconciliation, and documentation
Ability to translate business questions into structured data and analytics tasks
Detail-oriented and process-focused, with strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is required

Preferred

Experience with CRM or data visualization systems (e.g., DealCloud, Power BI, Tableau) a plus
Demonstrable expertise in determining the appropriate analytic approaches and computing techniques given data availability and business need
Experience with developing effective data visualization approaches
Strong interpersonal and project management skills – able to work independently, as needed, managing projects from start to finish with minimal oversight
