Responsibilities

Support our government customer

Develop mission critical software systems for the United States Navy

Work with teams of experts

Gain experience in the Defense field

Support the design, development and test of various software applications using Agile and DevSecOps processes and tools

Be equipped with a mentor to educate you on the day-to-day

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar field

Must be a current junior, senior or graduate student in college at the time of application

Basic knowledge of UNIX-like Operating Systems (i.e., Linux, Solaris, IRIX) and operating system administration (i.e., Red Hat Enterprise / CentOS Linux)

Coursework in areas including software development, object-oriented analysis and design, Python, Java, C/C++

Desire to work in the field of 'software engineering' with a variety of programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++ (Linux and Windows OS)

Experience working in a team environment

Good written and spoken communication including developing technical documentation

Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as scrum, user stories, sprints, etc

Must be a US Citizen to obtain a Secret clearance and successfully complete a government issued background investigation to access to customer site (must have lived continuously in the continental United States for the past three years)
