The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a Finance/Grant Specialist who will provide finance and grant support in compliance with applicable regulations and policies. The role involves executing and reviewing finance and grant transactions while ensuring a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Providing finance and grant support in a timely and accurate manner
Executing and reviewing routine and complex finance and pre- and post-award grant transactions
Working closely with employees within the units served, as well as functional office staff
Utilizing technology to provide professional services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of related finance or grant management work experience; equivalent education/experience considered
Experience with SAP or large integrated finance system
A willingness and demonstrated ability to learn new hardware and software systems
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with rules and regulations, including HIPAA and FERPA guidelines on the disclosure of information
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships within and outside of reporting lines
Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
