Responsibilities
Configure and maintain Epic Resolute Professional Billing (PB) or Hospital Billing (HB) modules
Manage charge router, benefit engines, claims processing, and payment workflows
Analyze billing workflows and data collection processes to identify improvement opportunities
Provide application support and troubleshooting for end-users
Lead or support system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and industry standards (e.g., ICD-10, HIPAA)
Collaborate with IT, finance, and billing teams to align system functionality with business needs
Design, build, test, and document system changes
Develop and maintain billing and revenue cycle reports
Assist in creating training materials for new system features
Participate in on-call support rotations for 24/7 system coverage
Qualification
Required
Strong expertise in Epic Resolute PB or HB modules
Knowledge of charge routing, work queues, statement processing, and collections workflows
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to manage tasks, lead meetings, and support project plans
High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Solid understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations and regulations
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
2–3+ years of experience supporting healthcare information systems
Epic or similar healthcare application experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Familiarity with project management tools
Preferred
Hospital billing environment experience preferred
Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) or Professional Billing (PB) certification preferred
Certification may be required within a defined timeframe
