Responsibilities
Extensive experience with the full BusinessObjects suite (Web Intelligence, Universe Design Tool/Information Design Tool)
Proven ability to design, develop, and optimize complex Universes (semantic layers) ensuring performance and ease of use for end-users
Expertise in creating advanced, high-impact reports, dashboards, and analytical views
Strong proficiency in writing and tuning advanced stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers within an Oracle environment
Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture, data modelling principles, and performance optimization techniques (indexing, execution plan analysis)
Hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, data loading utilities (Snowpipe, COPY INTO), and performance optimization in a cloud data warehouse environment
Proficiency in writing high-performing SQL queries within Snowflake to support BI and analytical requirements
Exceptional ability to gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into technical BI solutions and data models
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve data integrity issues, report discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks across the entire data flow (ETL to Reporting)
Solid experience with shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell) for automating batch jobs, scheduling processes, file handling, and monitoring data pipeline health
Familiarity with common Unix command-line tools for server maintenance and operation
